He famously translated Afro-Cuban poet Nicolas Guillen (in black vernacular) and Spaniard poet Federico Garcia Lorca's Gypsy Ballads. But did you know he also translated fiction from Mexico & Cuba? NO? Neither did we! Ricardo Wilson II collects these translations from Hughs in Troubled Lands.

Ricardo will be in conversation with the amazing @kylecarrerolopez whose forthcoming collection PARTY LINE (from @graywolfpress) is one of the most anticipated poetry collections in recent memory.
