Play in the power of sun, water, shadows, fabric, and the mesmerizing blue of Cyanotype. Together we’ll use cyanotype fluid on cotton paper or clothing to make quite literal photographic blueprints. It is both a print-that-is-blue and also a Blueprint as in a design that acts as a template, plan, or model.

So much of the ethereal realm is captured in the cyanotype process as we hand paint the fluid, choose cherished matter and symbols, imprint with the exposure of the sun, and develop with a fresh water wash. The passing of symbology thru the elements of sun, water, earth, and air distills and concentrates its potency.

Join us for a 2-hour workshop led by Fuzzy (@fuzzydewdrop), where we will imprint sprit and energy into wearable or hangable art.
Bring your intentions and a sense of play! You’re welcome to bring pressed flowers or plants, favorite tiny objects, or converted photo negatives to incorporate into your piece. Come for the fun, connection, and knowledge — leave with a magical, transformative piece of wearable art!
