Join us for a cozy evening of relaxation, stress relief, and nervous system support. We’ll gather in a circle (seated in chairs) to receive ear acupuncture and create a communal field of rest.
We’ll begin with a brief introduction to ear acupuncture and the specific points we’ll be using, then I’ll place a few tiny, sterile needles in the ear to promote calm and relaxation. As you rest comfortably with the needles in place, I’ll guide a gentle meditation to support your body in settling more deeply and allowing for a nervous system reset. Dim lighting, peaceful music, and the co-regulation that happens in community all contribute to a deeply restorative experience. There will be time at the end for reflections and questions.
This is an approachable, low-pressure introduction to acupuncture. All bodies are welcome; no experience is necessary. A consent and waiver will be required to participate, and all health information will be kept confidential in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
Tickets are $25 per person. Please sign up HERE.
Katy Hogan, LAc is the founder of Awakened Alignment Acupuncture, PC, located right here in Ditmas Park at 539 E 18th Street. She has been practicing acupuncture for over 15 years and loves supporting her patients through comprehensive, heart-centered care. She’s especially excited to collaborate with Brooklyn Artery and the beautiful community they’ve created, and to share this offering with new (and perhaps some familiar) faces.
Katy is delighted that she will be joined by her associate Ann-Aliki Antoniou, LAc, for this event. Both Katy and Ann-Aliki see patients locally in Ditmas Park.
